3. Management Information Systems (MIS):
A management information system (MIS) is a computerized database of the financial information system used for decision-making, and for the coordination, control, analysis and visualization of information in an organization. The study of management information systems examines people, processes and technology in an organization.
4. Transaction Processing Systems (TPS):
Transaction processing systems consist of computer hardware and software hosting a transaction-oriented application that performs the routine transactions necessary to conduct business.
