How a new blog service lets you write about the things you love

Writing for a living, I often found myself frustrated by the way my writing didn’t seem to translate into my work.

I couldn’t write about my family, my children, or my favorite hobby—travel.

Instead, I was forced to write about “stuff that wasn’t relevant to my life, and that I didn’t care about.”

The result?

I became an “ex-blogger,” an exhausted, depressed, and lonely person who only cared about what was on her or his blog.

That’s when I started The Writing Excuses blog, a service that helps writers get back to what matters most to them: writing.

And it’s working.

The service has since become a favorite among writers.
