A new program designed to help students pay for college has been announced by the University of Florida.
In a statement released Tuesday, the school announced that students will be able to get $5,000 in scholarships to help cover expenses during the two years before they graduate.
It will not be used for tuition or fees.
It’s the latest move by the university to help low-income students pay down their debt.
A program similar to the one launched by UF was also approved last month.
